Élixir de Mer
MOVEMENT WORKSHOP
In this workshop, you will dive into the movement themes of the premiere production Élixir de Mer. Through physical exercises, you’ll explore how the movement material and choreography of the piece have taken shape, hear behind-the-scenes stories from the creation process, and get to know the dancers of the production.
Guided by the productions dancers, Clémentine Herveux and Manon Andral, you will get an early glimpse into the world of the piece before its premiere!
The workshop is lead in English.
The course is open to all performing arts professionals and students, as well as anyone interested in the mechanics of movement.

ABOUT THE DANCERS
Clémentine Herveux
Born in Metz, France, and studied at the Central School of Ballet in London, Clémentine worked as a dancer in fixed companies from 2008 to 2019. She worked in institutions like the Hessisches Staatsballett, Landesbühnen Sachsen, Tanzkompagnie Giessen, and Ballet Theater Hagen, where she created and danced repertoire from choreographers such as Ohad Naharin, Damien Jalet, Hofesh Shechter, Sita Ostheimer, Jeroen Verbruggen, Alexander Ekman and others. Since then she is a freelance artist collaborating and exploring with different collectives, Cocoon Dance Company with Rafaele Giovanola, Socompany with Sita Ostheimer, Liliana Barros, Jeroen Verbruggen, IVONA Company with Pablo Girolami, Snorkel Rabbit with Alba Castillo and Bryan Arias, and Gustavo Gomes.
Manon Andral
French native Manon Andral began her training with various influences, from jazz to ballet includind theater development, before joining in 2010 the Atelier Rudra Béjart where she learned repertoire and had the opportunity to work with the Béjart Ballet Lausanne.
This time was followed by works as a freelancer and in 2014, she joins the Delattre Dance Company (Mainz) until 2017. In the 2017/18 season, Manon integrated the Hessisches Staatsballet, where she developed her artistry around repertoire from Xie Xin, Damien Jalet, Ohad Naharin, Eyal Dadon, Brian Arias, Edward Clug, Jeroen Verbruggen and Tim Plegge amongst others.
Manon composed choreografies in the context of the Hessisches Staatballett’s young choreographers and side projects between 2018 and 2023. She co-created and supported from January 2021 the charity cell « Move to Reach » with dancers of the Hessisches Staatballett.
In 2024, Manon Andral worked with the Ate9 Company, choreographer Danielle Agami, and around various collaborations with colleagues and fellow dancers (Isidora Markovic, Matthias Vaucher), as well as developing her own artistic research and teaching. Throughout 2025, she was commissioned as a choreographer for the opera Hänsel and Gretel. Following this experience Manon was invited to join the Tanz Kassel ensemble as a guest where she participated in works from Noah Zuck and Ohad Fishof, as well as from Andre Peña. Adding to those experiences she pursues performing collaborative projects.
