Finnish National Ballet, Helsinki, Finland

In the Finnish National Ballet’s centenary year 2022, a Triple Bill showcases three internationally acclaimed Finnish choreographers with new works by Johanna Nuutinen, Kenneth Kvarnström and Tero Saarinen.

Johanna Nuutinen graduated from the Finnish National Opera Ballet school in 2002. In the same year she became a member of the Finnish National Ballet and created a successful career with the company while dancing soloist parts in works by internationally renowned choreographers. Now Nuutinen returns once again to FNB and creates a group work HYÖKY – SURGE for the ensemble of dancers.

“Will we only see the clarity of the moment in the chaos when we take the time to face both ourselves and each other?”
