EVER
EVER, directed and choreographed by Johanna Nuutinen, focuses on the ambiguity of the concept of the end. Ending can mean an inevitable decision, a stagnation, or a transition – but it can also be a new beginning or a continuum, where nothing really ends but transforms into something new. The work invites the viewer to pause and reflect on what “the end” means for them and whether anything is really “over forever”.
EVER is part of the It’s Time – event which celebrates Ballet Finland’s 15th anniversary.
Performances at the Almi Hall of the National Opera:
24.10. | 18.30
25.10. | 18.30
26.10. | 15 & 18.30
Time as a theme fits well both with the anniversary year and with performing arts, especially dance, where movement lives strongly in the moment. It’s Time consists of contemporary dance works by three top Finnish choreographers Johanna Nuutinen, Hanna Brotherus, and Kenneth Kvarnström.
