Johanna has been leading contemporary dance and improvisation classes for professional performers as well as people interested in movement since 2016.

The session will start with awakening the energy flow with Chi kung -based movement which brings the participants’ concentration on alignment, flow of energy and movement originating from the centre of the body in connection with the breath. From this calm and clear state we will continue strengthening the body from within by using improvisational tools which encourage us to awaken the delicacy of our own embodied imagination, spatial awareness and movement range. Special focus will be drawn on awakening the spine, articulation of the joints and the multiple movement motors of the body.
